Minimum Qualifications
Tutors/Mentors:
All volunteers and mentors must be of the highest ethical and
professional standards. First of all volunteers must demonstrate
an interest and desire to guide, teach and mentor participating
students. Candidates should possess a general respect and love
for children; Possess a high school diploma and some college is
helpful. Must be able and willing to listen and maintain
confidentiality; be available to make school contact with teachers; and
periodically attend campus luncheons as well as off campus events e.g.
football games, etc. with Director approval. Tutors must have clarity
regarding his or her skill set.
Other Volunteers
Needed:
Solid Foundation actively recruits volunteers to prepare meals, story
telling, arts & crafts, community lecture series, and much
